Broccoli And Crab Bisque Soup

  1. In a 3-quart saucepan, cook onions, mushrooms, broccoli and garlic in butter until crisp.
  2. Blend in flour, thyme, 1/8 teaspoon of salt, pepper and bay leaf.
  3. Add chicken broth and cream all at once.
  4. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly.
  5. Cook and stir 1 minute more.
  6. Add cheese; stir until cheese is melted.
  7. Add crabmeat; heat through.
