Baked Brie Cheese

  1. Thaw one sheet of pastry.
  2. Remove brie from packaging (leave white rind on).
  3. Cover top with jam.
  4. Cover jam with chopped nuts.
  5. Wrap brie in pastry dough sealing on the underside.
  6. Brush on egg wash.
  7. Bake in a 350 degree (175 C.) oven until pastry is golden brown (this should allow plenty of time for cheese inside to melt--don't be surprised it some oozes out, it's o.k.
  8. ).
  9. Place on serving dish with knife and crackers of your choice.
