Guava Chiffon Pie Recipe

  1. Soften gelatin in lemon juice; set aside.
  2. Combine egg yolks, guava juice and 1/2 c. sugar.
  3. Add in red food color.
  4. Cook and stir over medium heat till mix thickens, add in gelatin mix.
  5. Cold till consistency of egg whites.
  6. Beat egg whites and cream of tartar to stiff peaks, add in 1/4 c. sugar, beat till stiff peaks form.
  7. Mix in gelatin mix, pour into pie shell.
  8. Chill, top with sweetened whipped cream.
