Open Faced Chik'n Burrito

  1. Just follow our 3 simple steps
  2. Bake 1 pkg.
  3. (283g) simulated chicken veggie burgers according to package directions.
  4. Cut each patty into quarters.
  5. Mix 1 can (19 oz / 540 mL) drained black beans with 1/2 pkg.
  6. taco seasoning mix and the juice of half a lime in a bowl.
  7. Mash with a potato masher until beans are pulpy.
  8. Heat 1 tsp.
  9. oil in a non-stick frypan.
  10. Cook bean mixture 4 - 6 minutes, until bubbling, stirring frequently.
  11. Divide bean mixture, patties, 2 chopped plum tomatoes, 1 chopped onion, 1/4 cup pitted black olives, 1 cup chopped lettuce and 1/2 cup grated Cracker Barrel Cheddar Cheese between 4 small corn tortillas.
