Peach, Lime, and Cardamom Sauce

  1. Place lime juice in medium bowl.
  2. Add peaches and toss to coat.
  3. Stir 1 cup water, sugar, and cardamom in medium saucepan over medium heat until sugar dissolves.
  4. Increase heat; boil until syrup is reduced to generous 1/3 cup, stirring often, about 8 minutes.
  5. Mix hot syrup into peaches.
  6. Cool.
  7. DO AHEAD Can be made 1 day ahead.
  8. Cover; chill.
