Parmesan Pepperoni Cheese Puffs
- 1- 1/4 cup Water
- 13 cups Shortening
- 1- 1/2 cup All-purpose Flour
- 4 Eggs
- 3/4 cups Finely Chopped Pepperoni
- 3/4 cups Grated Parmesan
- 18 teaspoons Garlic Powder
- 18 teaspoons Ground Black Pepper
- Preheat oven 425 degrees F. Lightly grease 2 baking sheets, set aside.
- In a large saucepan, add water and shortening.
- Bring to a boil.
- Add flour at once, stirring vigorously.
- Cook and stir until mixture forms a ball.
- Remove from heat.
- Let cool for about 8-10 minutes.
- Add eggs one at a time.
- Beat well with a wooden spoon after each addition.
- Stir in pepperoni, cheese, garlic powder and black pepper.
- Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto baking sheet about 1 1/2 to 2 inches apart.
- Bake 15-17 minutes or till puffed and golden.
- Makes approximately 45 puffs.
