Parmesan Pepperoni Cheese Puffs

  1. Preheat oven 425 degrees F. Lightly grease 2 baking sheets, set aside.
  2. In a large saucepan, add water and shortening.
  3. Bring to a boil.
  4. Add flour at once, stirring vigorously.
  5. Cook and stir until mixture forms a ball.
  6. Remove from heat.
  7. Let cool for about 8-10 minutes.
  8. Add eggs one at a time.
  9. Beat well with a wooden spoon after each addition.
  10. Stir in pepperoni, cheese, garlic powder and black pepper.
  11. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto baking sheet about 1 1/2 to 2 inches apart.
  12. Bake 15-17 minutes or till puffed and golden.
  13. Makes approximately 45 puffs.
