Beef-Cheese Casserole
- 1 1/2 lb. extra lean ground beef
- 1 small chopped onion
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 tsp. oregano
- 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 1 c. cottage cheese
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 1/4 c. sour cream
- 1/3 c. green pepper, chopped
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. noodles, cooked and drained
- grated Parmesan
- Cook ground beef and onion in skillet until beef is browned. Add salt, pepper, oregano and tomato sauce.
- Simmer slowly. Combine cottage cheese, cream cheese, sour cream and green pepper. Place half the noodles in bottom of greased 3-quart casserole dish.
- Top with cheese mixture; add remaining noodles.
- Pour meat mixture over top.
- Bake in 350u0b0 oven for 30 minutes.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan and let brown slightly.
- Yields 8 to 10 servings.
