Apple Crisp by Jane
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup white sugar
- 13 cup butter
- 5 cups apples, peeled, sliced
- 14 cup water
- 1 12 teaspoons apple pie spice
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- In an 8 or 9-inch greased baking pan, place sliced apples.
- Add 1/4 cup water.
- Sprinkle mixture of apple pie spice, salt and 1 tablespoons sugar over apples.
- Mix flour, sugar and butter with your hands.
- Spread this mixture over apples.
- Pat down with fingers.
- Bake in a 350F oven for 40 minutes.
- This tastes delicious served warm with vanilla ice cream!
