Easy! Microwaved Fluffy Steamed Bread using Pancake Mix
- 200 grams Pancake mix
- 2 Eggs (large)
- 100 ml Milk
- 4 tbsp Vegetable oil
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- Beat the egg in a heat-resistant bowl.
- Add the milk, vegetable oil, and salt.
- Use a whisk to mix.
- Add the pancake mix to Step 1 and stir until smooth.
- Lightly wrap with plastic wrap.
- Leave some space open on both sides of the bowl.
- First, microwave at a low temperature (150 W) for 8 minutes.
- Then microwave at a high temperature (500 W) for 3 minutes or 7 minutes at 500-600 W.
- Slide a rubber spatula between the bowl and the bread and move it all the way around to un-stick the bread from the bowl.
- It's done!
- If the bread still seems a bit raw, microwave for another 30 seconds.
- Microwaving at 500-600 W continuously has the chance of the batter becoming tough.
