Boysenberry Sauce Ala The Dumpling Cookbook Recipe
- 2 c. Boysenberries
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp. kirsch
- 1.
- Combine the Boysenberries with the sugar in a saucepan.
- Bring to a boil, stirring frequently.
- Taste for sweetness, and add in more sugar if you like.

- Remove from heat and strain.
- 3.
- Combine the cornstarch with a little of the Boysenberry mix.
- Heat the remaining mix and add in the cornstarch mix.
- Cook, stirring, till sauce has thickened.
- 4.
- Remove from heat and stir in the lemon juice and kirsch.
- Serve with fritters.
