Just Right Spaghetti Sauce

  1. Pre-measure all spices, salt and sugar, into a small bowl.
  2. Set aside.
  3. Brown beef in a large, heavy-bottomed pot over medium heat until browned and cooked through.
  4. Add celery, onion and green pepper, and cook until fragrant and transclucent.
  5. Stir in mushrooms, spices, and the garlic.
  6. Add all three cans of tomato products and the wine, then mix and season to taste.
  7. Simmer for approximately 1 hour, adding water as needed for liquid.
