Meat and Rice Stuffing
- 3 large onions coarsely grated
- 1 pound meat minced
- 1 cup parsley leaves finely chopped
- 1 cup dill weed finely chopped
- 1 each tomatoes grated
- 1/4 cup rice short, grain
- 1 x salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 cup mint leaves fresh, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1/4 cup water cold
- Place all ingredients in a bowl.
- Mix well.
- NOTE: This stuffing can be used to fill vine leaves, cabbage leaves, tomatoes, zucchini, eggplant, bell peppers asnd Swiss chard.
