Chai (Indian Tea)

  1. Heat water in a pan.
  2. Add sugar, peppercorns, cloves, cardamom, cinnamon and aniseed and bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat and let boil for 5 minutes.
  4. Add tea leaves and milk and bring to boil.
  5. Simmer on stove top for 30 minutes.
  6. Strain into cups.
