Spaghetti Pie
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. spaghetti
- 2 Tbsp. soft butter
- 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp. salt and pepper
- 1 egg, well beaten
- 1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
- 1 medium onion
- 1 lb. cottage cheese
- 1 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 green pepper
- 1 qt. sauce
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 12 oz. Mozzarella
- Cook spaghetti and drain.
- In large bowl mix butter, salt, Parmesan, pepper and egg.
- Add spaghetti and toss.
- Spread evenly in 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Brown meat adding onion, green pepper and garlic.
- Drain off fat.
- Stir in sauce, sugar and oregano.
- Spread cottage cheese over spaghetti layer.
- Top with meat mixture and bake at 350u0b0 for 30 minutes.
- Sprinkle with Mozzarella.
- Bake another 10 minutes.
