Bread And Butter Pickles(For Weight Watchers)

  1. Cut cucumbers in paper-thin slices.
  2. Let onion, peppers, cucumber and salt
  3. stand
  4. covered with ice water for 3 hours in large container;
  5. drain.
  6. Make
  7. a syrup from sweetener, vinegar and spices.
  8. When
  9. sweetener is dissolved, add drained pickles. Bring to a
  10. boil, but do not boil.
  11. Pack in sterilized jars and process in
  12. boiling
  13. water
  14. for
  15. 5 minutes.
  16. Pickles taste best when chilled completely before serving.
