Beef Chasseur Recipe
- 8 ounce beef fillet
- 1 tsp garlic
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp freshly-grnd black pepper
- 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp currant jelly
- 2 Tbsp. demi glace
- 1/4 c. burgundy
- 1/4 c. water
- 1/2 tsp chopped garlic
- 1/2 tsp butter
- 1/2 c. sliced mushrooms
- Rub garlic, salt, and pepper into fillet and flash fry in 1 Tbsp.
- butter.
- Take out and put in baking dish.
- Save juices and add in Worcestershire sauce, currant jelly, demi glace, burgundy, water, garlic, butter, and mushrooms.
- Add in all to juices remaining and reduce by 1/2.
- Pour over beef and bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- This recipe yields 1 serving.
