Strawberry Cake
- 1 (1 lb. 2 1/2 oz.) pkg. white cake mix
- 1/2 c. cooking oil
- 4 eggs
- 3 oz. pkg. strawberry gelatin
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 10 oz. pkg. frozen strawberries, defrosted
- Strawberry Frosting
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
- Grease and flour three 9-inch layer cake pans.
- Put cake mix, oil and eggs in mixing bowl; beat for 2 minutes on medium speed with electric beater.
- Combine gelatin and flour; set aside.
- Drain strawberries well; reserve 1/2 cup of syrup.
- Add gelatin mixture, strawberries and reserved syrup to batter in bowl; beat for 1 minute.
- Turn into pans.
- Bake in preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
- Cool for 5 minutes.
- Remove from pans.
- Cool on wire racks.
- Fill and frost with Strawberry Frosting.
- Makes three 9-inch layers.
- Delicious.
