Beef Picadillo Empanadas

  1. Cook and stir onions and garlic in large skillet on medium-high heat 3 min.
  2. Add ground beef; cook 10 min.
  3. or until done, stirring occasionally.
  4. Stir in tomato sauce; cook 5 min.
  5. Add apples, bacon, raisins and nuts; mix well.
  6. Cook 5 min., stirring frequently.
  7. Remove from heat; cool completely.
  8. Heat oven to 400F.
  9. Unroll pie crusts on lightly floured surface; cut each into 8 wedges.
  10. Use rolling pin to stretch each wedge, 1 at a time, to make 1 inch larger.
  11. Spoon about 1/4 cup meat mixture onto centre of each wedge; top with Singles piece.
  12. Fold dough in half to completely enclose filling; press edges together to seal.
  13. Place on parchment-covered baking sheet; brush with egg.
  14. Bake 20 min.
  15. or until golden brown.
