Fruit & Nut Fudge

  1. Put the sugar, milk and molasses in a saucepan.
  2. Stir until dissolved.
  3. Boil over medium heat to 238F or until a little of the mixture forms a soft ball when dropped in cold water.
  4. Stir in the butter and chocolate.
  5. Allow to cool.
  6. Beat until creamy.
  7. Add nuts fruit and vanilla.
  8. Pour into 8x4 - inch greased loaf pan.
  9. When cooled, cut into squares.
