Noodles Riviera
- 1 pound Ground Meat
- 1 Large Chopped Sweet Onion
- 3-5 Garlic Cloves, Chopped
- 2 jars Spaghetti Sauce
- 16 ounces, weight Mushrooms
- 1 package Egg Noodles
- 1 cup Dried Parsley Flakes
- 16 ounces, fluid Cream Cheese, Softened
- 16 ounces, fluid Sour Cream
- Preheat oven to 350
- Brown ground meat.
- Add onion and garlic and saute a few minutes, until onions are translucent.
- Add spaghetti sauce and mushrooms and simmer on low until noodles are ready.
- Cook egg noodles until just before al dente.
- Youll be baking this in a casserole, so the noodles need to still be a bit firm.
- Combine cream cheese, sour cream and parsley flakes until mostly smooth.
- A few small lumps of cream cheese are ok.
- Set out a 9x13 casserole dish.
- Spoon half of the noodles into the dish, then half of the meat sauce.
- Spread half of the cream cheese sauce over the meat sauce.
- Cover with remaining noodles, then remaining sauce.
- Drop remaining cream cheese sauce in dollops on top of the meat sauce.
- Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and garlic powder, and bake in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.
- Serve with garlic bread.
