Juicy Simmered Ground Chicken and Daikon Radish
- 1/3 daikon radish Daikon Radish
- 1 carrot Carrots (if preferred)
- 150 grams Minced chicken
- 2 cm Ginger paste
- 1 tbsp each Soy sauce, Cooking sake, Mirin
- 1 tbsp Fine chicken soup stock powder
- 250 ml Water
- 1 Salt
- 1 Katakuriko slurry
- Cut the daikon radish and carrots into preferred sizes.
- Boil the daikon in water that has been used to wash rice if available.
- Regular water is OK if unavailable!
- Add daikon and carrots from step 1, ground chicken, and ingredients into a pot and boil.
- Season with salt once the carrots have softened.
- This time, I added 50ml of water to 1 tablespoon of katakuriko to make a slurry.
