Sweet-Sour Beef

  1. Place steak in shallow dish.
  2. Add 3/4 cup soy sauce; mix well so all the beef will marinate.
  3. Allow to stand at least 30 minutes.
  4. Cook pepper strips in salad oil until limp and glazed; do not overcook.
  5. Remove from pan.
  6. Add beef to skillet; cook quickly, stirring occasionally.
  7. Reduce heat to low and add pineapple juice and cook slowly for 10 minutes.
  8. Add tidbits and peppers.
