Bourbon Marinated Steak Recipe
- 1 x 3 - 4 lb. top sirloin steak
- 1/2 c. bourbon
- 1/2 c. extra virgin olive oil
- 1/3 c. red wine vinegar
- 1/3 c. dry red wine
- 2 x cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 Tbsp. fresh grnd pepper
- Place steak in deep dish, combine remaining ingredients and pour over steak.
- Allow steak to marinate for 4 to 5 hrs.
- Remove steak and grill over warm charcoal or possibly gas grill, baste often with marinade.
- Cook steak to medium rare (or possibly desired doneness).
- Chefs Notes: You really cannot have bourbon marinated steak without the bourbon.
