Maple Cream Coffee Treat
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 to 3/4 c. chopped nuts (coarse)
- 1/3 c. maple syrup
- 1/4 c. melted butter
- 1/4 c. powdered sugar
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 2 Tbsp. softened butter
- 2 (10 oz.) cans Hungry Jack refrigerator biscuits
- Heat oven to 350u0b0. In ungreased 9 x 13 pan, combine brown sugar, nuts, syrup and melted butter. Blend cream cheese, powdered sugar and 2 tablespoons margarine until smooth. Separate biscuits and press each into 4-inch circles. Spoon 1 tablespoon cream cheese in center and fold over forming finger shaped rolls. Place in pan seam side down on top of syrup mixture. Bake at 350u0b0 for 20 to 30 minutes. Cool 3 minutes. Invert over serving platter. Be careful. Syrup mixture will be hot! Can be made the night ahead and baked the next day.
