Apple Dumplings(These Dumplings Will Melt In Your Mouth.)
- 2 c. flour
- 2 Tbsp. baking powder
- 2/3 c. cold milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 5 Tbsp. shortening
- 1 pt. water
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. light brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/4 tsp. maple flavoring or vanilla
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 2 c. boiling water
- 1 1/3 c. flour
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 2/3 c. milk
- 1 can whole kernel corn, drained
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 egg, well beaten
- 2 1/4 c. flour
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. lemon extract
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1 egg, well beaten
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. shortening, melted
- 1/2 c. sour milk
- 4 egg yolks
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 2 tsp. shortening
- 4 Tbsp. cream or milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- In a large bowl, mix all ingredients together.
- Roll out thin on slightly floured surface and cut into thin strips.
- Let dry 2 hours or longer.
