Banana Nut Chocolate Chip Bread Recipe
- 1/3 c. Butter or possibly margarine, softened
- 3/4 c. Sugar
- 1 x Egg
- 1 c. Mashed banana
- 2 c. All purpose flour
- 2 1/2 tsp Baking pwdr
- 1/4 tsp Baking soda
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 c. Minced pecans (or possibly walnuts)
- 1/2 c. Chocolate chips (or possibly more if you like
- 1/2 c. Buttermilk
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Cream butter and sugar.
- Fold in egg and banana.
- Stir together flour, baking pwdr, baking soda, salt, nuts and chocolate chips.
- Add in this mix to creamed mix alternately with buttermilk.
- Stir till just blended.
- Pour batter into a greased and floured loaf pan (9x5x3 inches).
- Bake for 65 min, or possibly till bread tests done.
- Cold in pan for about 5 min, then turn out on a wire rack.
- Makes 1 loaf.
