Restaurant style Jalapeno Cheese Bread.

  1. In large bowl dissolve yeast and warm water (not hot).
  2. Stir in oil, salt and one cup of flour.
  3. Mix well then add the rest of the flour 1/2 cup at a time.
  4. Knead on lightly floured surface, for about ten minutes.
  5. Then rise in a lightly oiled bowl for 1 hour.
  6. Combine cheese and Jalapenos until even.
  7. Deflate dough, stretch and knead until 22 inches long and 9 inches wide.
  8. Sprinkle all but 1/2 of cheese mix on stretched dough.
  9. Then roll into desired loaf shape.
  10. Place dough seam side down, and let set about 40 minutes.
  11. Preheat to 425f, then sprinkle remaining cheese and peppers on top of the bread dough.
  12. Lower heat to 375f and bake 30 minutes or until dough is a light brown.
  13. Cool for about 10 minutes.
  14. #CHEATS for five minute easy fix buy jar of Jalapenos and bag of grated cheese.
  15. It is just as cheap but makes the process much easier.
  16. If you have a bread maker you can add all the ingredients and most will knead it and mix together for you.
