Green Pepper Steak Bake Recipe
- 1 pound beef chuck or possibly round steak
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 1/2 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1/4 c. salad oil
- 1 c. thinly sliced green pepper">pepper or possibly red pepper">pepper
- 1 c. minced green onion
- 2 stalks celery, minced
- 1 tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 c. water
- 2 tomatoes, cut into wedges
- Cooked rice or possibly noodles
- Cut meat into 1/2 inch strips.
- Add in soy and garlic to meat.
- Toss and set aside.
- Heat oil.
- Add in beef and cook on high till tender.
- Add in vegetables except tomatoes.
- Heat till vegetables are crisply done, about 10 min.
- Mix cornstarch and water.
- Pour into cooked mix and cook till thickened.
- Pour over rice or possibly noodles in a casserole dish.
- Layer tomatoes on top.
- Heat in oven 10-15 min.
