Stuffed Peppers

  1. Brown meat and onion in large skillet on medium heat.
  2. Stir in 1 cup of the tomato sauce, 1 cup of the water and salad dressing mix.
  3. Bring to boil.
  4. Stir in rice; cover.
  5. Remove from heat.
  6. Let stand 5 minutes.
  7. Meanwhile cut tops off peppers; remove seeds.
  8. Mix remaining tomato sauce and water in bottom of 9-inch baking dish.
  9. Place peppers in baking dish.
  10. Spoon meat mixture into peppers; cover with foil.
  11. Bake at 400F for 35 to 40 minutes or until peppers are tender.
  12. Spoon sauce over peppers before serving.
