Almond Tofu (Great for Toddlers)

  1. Simmer 300 ml water and dissolve 50 g sugar to make the syrup.
  2. Let it cool.
  3. Combine 250 ml water and the powdered kanten in a pot.
  4. Boil for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Add sugar into the pot from Step 2 and dissolve.
  6. Add milk.
  7. Stir briefly so that the mixture is cooked through (do not let it boil).
  8. Add vanilla extract.
  9. Pour into a wet tupperware or bowl and chill to harden.
  10. When hardened, make diagonal cuts to slice the jello into 2 cm diamonds.
  11. Pour the syrup over the jello.
  12. Chop the fruits into desired sizes and mix with the jello.
