Strawberry Punch Bowl Cake
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 2 large pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed
- 1 large strawberry jello
- 1 c. boiling water
- 1 large instant vanilla pudding
- 1 large Cool Whip
- Make yellow cake according to directions on box in round pans. Cool.
- Slice in half horizontally.
- Mix together boiling water and strawberry jello; add thawed strawberries.
- Refrigerate until gels. (Won't really get thick.)
- Make instant vanilla pudding according to directions.
- In punch bowl, pour a ladle of strawberry filling. Then put 1 layer of cake.
- Top with pudding and a heaping tablespoonful of Cool Whip.
- Pour a ladle of strawberry filling, then alternate cake, pudding, Cool Whip, strawberry jello, etc. Refrigerate.
- Before serving, put the rest of the Cool Whip on.
- A hit at parties!
