Sunny's Sazerac

• 3 ounces whiskey
• 2 ounces ouzo
• 2 dashes bitters
• 2 tablespoons simple syrup (equal amounts sugar and water heated until sugar dissolves; cooled)
• Lemon twist, for garnish

1. Fill glass 1/2 full with crushed ice.
2. Add whiskey, ouzo, bitters and simple syrup.
3. Mix together and garnish with lemon twist.
