How To Make A Samurai Warrior Helmet For Children's Day

  1. Divide the crabstick into the red and white parts.
  2. Stick the rolled out crabstick sheets on the sliced cheese.
  3. Don't throw away the divider cellophane sheets from the sliced cheese yet.
  4. Just take off the top sheet and work on the bottom sheet.
  5. Put the top cellophane sheet back on top of the cheese and crabstick, and draw out the helmet parts using a waterproof marker.
  6. We'll be cutting the parts out cellophane and all, using the markings as guidelines.
  7. The cut out parts look like this.
  8. Assemble the parts together to form the kabuto, and it's done!
  9. Put the helmet on the head of a favorite character, and it becomes the star of a Children's Day bento.
