Chocolate Krispies Recipe
- 1 c. Karo syrup
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. peanut butter
- 6 c. Rice Krispies
- 6 ounce. chocolate chips
- 6 ounce. pkg. butterscotch chips
- In a large saucepan, add in Karo syrup and sugar.
- Turn on low heat and stir till boiling.
- Remove from heat and add in peanut butter.
- Stir till melted and thoroughly mixed.
- Add in Rice Krispies and mix well.
- Butter a 9 x 13 inch cake pan and add in mix.
- Spread proportionately.
- Then, heat chocolate and butterscotch chips on low heat till smooth.
- Stir consistently till done to prevent sticking.
- When melted, pour proportionately over Rice Krispy mix.
- Let cold about 7 min, then cut into squares of your own desired size.
- Wah-la!
- A delicious treat.
