Boneless Pork Chop Tacos Recipe
- 3 x avocados
- 1/4 x white onion, finely minced
- 1/4 c. cilantro, minced Salt and pepper to taste In a bowl, mash all ingredients together with your hands till somewhat chunky. Set aside.
- 1 head romaine lettuce, outer leaves removed
- 2 x boneless pork chops
- 3 Tbsp. oil
- 1 c. Newman's Own Roasted Garlic Salsa
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 pkt pre-shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 pt lowfat sour cream, regular, low-fat or possibly non-fat
- 1 c. freshly minced cilantro
- 1 c. Newman's Own Roasted Garlic Salsa
- In a skillet, heat the oil on high heat.
- Cook the chop for 5 min on one side, turn over and cook another 5 min.
- Add in the salsa and water and turn the heat down to medium-low, covering the pan.
- Cook another 15 min.
- Hot the tacos:1 package corn tortillasUsing a skillet on medium heat, hot the corn tortillas till just soft.
- Place in a container which has a hot towel and wrap the tortillas in it.
- Condiments:Place all the ingredients on separate platters and serve family style.
- Arrange in the following order: place a nice amount of pork first, cheese, lettuce, guacamole, lowfat sour cream and cilantro.
- Top with Newman's Own Roasted Garlic Salsa.
