Smoky BBQ Brisket
- 2 pounds Brisket, Trimmed
- 4 ounces, fluid Natural Mesquite Liquid Smoke
- 1/2 whole Onion, Sliced
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 2 teaspoons Garlic Salt
- 13 cups Worcestershire Sauce
- 18 ounces, fluid BBQ Sauce
- Place brisket in a gallon size Ziploc bag.
- Pour liquid smoke over the brisket.
- Add onion, salt and garlic salt.
- Seal the bag and put it into the refrigerator to marinate for a minimum of 3 hours, turning occasionally to redistribute the liquid.
- Preheat oven to 275 F.
- Remove brisket from the marinade and place it on a large piece of heavy duty foil.
- Discard the marinade mixture.
- Pour Worcestershire sauce over the brisket and fold the foil around the brisket and seal it up.
- Place it in a roasting pan.
- Bake for 5 hours.
- Then pull it out of the oven, unfold foil and pour barbecue sauce evenly over brisket.
- Bake for 1 more hour uncovered.
