Irish Ginger Snap Cookies

  1. Preheat oven to 350F (180C) F (175 degrees C).
  2. Add sugar, egg, salt and butter together, cream with an electric mixer in a large bowl until light and fluffy.
  3. Add flour, baking soda and spices.
  4. Beat in a low speed until just incorporated and moist.
  5. Roll teaspoonfuls of dough into balls and roll the balls into sugar.
  6. Bake in preheated oven for 5 to 8 minutes, or until lightly browned and set.
  7. Cool on wire racks completely and store in the air-tight container.
