Bacon Spinach Appetizer Squares Recipe
- 1 x 10 ounce. can Pillsbury Refrig. All Ready Pizza Crust
- 6 slc bacon
- 1 c. Finely minced red onions
- 1 x 9 ounce. pkg. Green Giant Harvest Fresh Frzn Spinach, cooked, liquid removed
- 1/4 tsp Garlic pwdr
- 1/4 tsp Dry marjoram leaves
- 4 ounce (1 c.) shredded Cheddar cheese
- 4 ounce (1 c.) shredded mozzarella cheese
- Heat oven to 425 F. Grease 15x10x1 inch baking pan.
- Unroll dough in greased pan; starting at center, press out dough with hands to cover bottom of pan.
- Bake at 425 F for 10 min or possibly till light golden.
- (Crust may shrink slightly.)
- Meanwhile, in medium skillet over medium heat cook bacon till crisp.
- Remove bacon from skillet; crumble.
- Reserve 1 Tbsp.
- drippings in skillet; add in onions.
- Cook and stir till crisp-tender.
- Top partially baked crust with bacon, onions and remaining ingredients.
- Bake at 425F for 8 to 10 min or possibly till crust is deep golden and cheese is melted.
- Cut into squares.
- Serve hot.
- Yield: 48 appetizers.
