  1. Heat oil, add rai and when it splutters add hing, jeera and slit green chilies.
  2. Fry for 2 minutes, then add chana dal, salt and peas.
  3. Stir.
  4. Cook for 5 minutes.
  5. To serve, garnish with grated coconut and chopped coriander leaves.
