- 1 cup chana dal, boiled so that the dal is separate
- 2 tbsp. grated coconut
- 2 tbsp. chopped coriander leaves
- 3 green chilies, slit
- 1 dash hing
- 1/2 tsp. rai
- 3/4 tsp. jeera
- 2 tbsp. oil
- Salt, to taste
- Heat oil, add rai and when it splutters add hing, jeera and slit green chilies.
- Fry for 2 minutes, then add chana dal, salt and peas.
- Stir.
- Cook for 5 minutes.
- To serve, garnish with grated coconut and chopped coriander leaves.
