Smother Round Steak Recipe
- Round steak
- Lg. bell pepper, minced
- Lg. onion, minced
- Garlic, fresh, crushed and minced
- Kitchen Bouquet
- 1 c. mushrooms, sliced (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Trim fat from round steak, rub to cover with Kitchen Bouquet, cut into serving pcs.
- Brown in a little oil.
- Add in onions, bell pepper, fresh garlic, add in sufficient water to cover.
- Simmer till meat is tender, adding more water, if necessary.
- When meat is tender, add in mushrooms.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- If juice needs to be thickened, use flour mixed with water and continue cooking till desired thickness.
- Serve over steamed rice.
