Easiest Scones / Drop Biscuits Ever

  1. Preheat oven to 200C
  2. Sift flour, baking powder and salt into a bowl
  3. Cube the softened (not melted) butter then cut or rub into the flour mix.
  4. Add milk and mix with a flat knife into a soft dough.
  5. PLEASE NOTE: my scone mix is a very wet one.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a lined baking tray.
  7. Brush tops with a little extra milk
  8. Bake for 15 to 20 mins until golden on top.
  9. Time will depend on the size of your spoonfuls
  10. Serve warm with just butter or spread jam over and add a dollop of wipped cream
