Cranberry Pudding
- 2 large apple juice, cans cleaned and coated with oil (inside)
- 1 14 cups flour
- 1 cup cranberries, chopped
- 12 cup molasses
- 12 cup hot water
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 14 cup butter
- 12 cup white sugar
- 12 pint cream
- vanillla and nutmeg
- Mix together molasses, hot water and baking soda.
- Add to flour and berries and mix well.
- Put in juice cans.
- Take large pot big enough to hold cans and cover.
- Add enough water to cover 1/3 of cans.
- Heat to boiling.
- Lower temperature and cover to steam pudding.
- Check with uncooked spaghetti to see if cooked.
- (if it comes out clean, it is cooked), about 45 minutes.
- SAUCE: Bring all ingredients to a boil.
- Serve over hot pudding.
- Good for a crowd.
