Broke Guy's Chili-Garlic Noodle Bowl

  1. Cook the noodles according to the package directions.
  2. Toss them with the lime juice, soy sauce, sesame oil, chili-garlic sauce and 2 tablespoons of the vegetable oil.
  3. If you are using the optional shrimp, heat the remaining 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the shrimp and cook, tossing frequently, until opaque throughout (2 to 3 minutes).
  5. Divide the noodles among 4 bowls and top with the shrimp.
  6. Add the cabbage, peas and carrots, dividing evenly.
