Cinnamon-Swirl Banana Bread
- 2 cups flour
- 3/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar, divided
- 2 tsp. ground cinnamon, divided
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup MIRACLE WHIP Dressing Family Dollar $3.50 thru 02/07
- 1-1/2 cups mashed fully ripe bananas (about 3 large)
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 Tbsp. milk
- Heat oven to 350F.
- Combine flour, baking soda, salt, 1/2 cup granulated sugar and 1 tsp.
- cinnamon in large bowl.
- Whisk eggs, dressing, bananas and vanilla until blended.
- Add to flour mixture; stir just until dry ingredients are evenly moistened.
- Pour half the batter into 9x5-inch loaf pan sprayed with cooking spray.
- Combine remaining granulated sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over batter in pan.
- Cover with remaining batter.
- Bake 40 to 45 min.
- or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
- Cool in pan 15 min.
- Remove from pan to wire rack; cool completely.
- Mix powdered sugar and milk until blended; drizzle over bread.
