Candy & Peanut Jumble Cookies
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 cup Land O Lakes Margarine
- 2 Land O Lakes Eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups uncooked quick-cooking oats
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup coarsely chopped salted peanuts
- 1 (14-ounce) package (2 cups) candy-coated milk chocolate pieces
- Heat oven to 350F.
- Combine sugar, brown sugar, margarine, eggs and vanilla in bowl.
- Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until light and fluffy.
- Add all remaining ingredients except peanuts and candy; beat at low speed, scraping bowl often, until well mixed.
- Stir in peanuts and chocolate pieces.
- Drop dough by 1/4 cupfuls, 2-inches apart, onto greased cookie sheets.
- Bake 12-18 minutes or until light golden brown.
- Cool 1 minute on cookie sheets; remove to cooling rack.
- Variation: Candy & Peanut Bar Cookies: Prepare cookie dough as directed above.
- Press dough into greased 15x10x1-inch baking pan with lightly floured hands.
- Bake 23-27 minutes.
