Brownie Pudding Cake

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Combine flour, 3/4 c. of the granulated sugar, 1/4 c. of the cocoa powder, baking powder and salt in bowl.
  3. Add milk, melted butter and 1/2 t. of the vanilla; stir until smooth.
  4. Stir in chocolate morsels.
  5. Spread batter evenly in baking dish.
  6. In small bowl, whisk together remaining 3/4 c. granulated sugar and 1/4 c. cocoa; gradually stir in boiling water and remaining 1 t. vanilla.
  7. Carefully pour mixture evenly over batter in dish.
  8. Bake 30-35 min. or until cake tester comes out clean.
  9. Cool 15 min.
  10. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
  11. Great topped with ice cream and whipped cream.
