Easy Macaroni & Cheese
- 1 lb elbow macaroni (or whatever you have on hand, I usually use penne)
- 34 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 dash pepper
- 1 dash cayenne pepper (optional)
- 2 cups grated cheese (I use medium cheddar)
- 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese
- Cook macaroni until al dente, drain.
- In pan melt butter, add milk & bring to a low boil.
- Add flour and stir until milk thickens.
- Add peppers.
- Turn stove heat to medium-low and add in cheese, stir until they are melted and incorporated into milk mixture.
- Remove from heat.
- Add pasta and stir until coated.
