Bacon, Individually Freezing Slices
- 1 lb or more of sliced bacon
- 2 sheets of aluminum foil, about 18 inches long
- 5 or more, depending on how much bacon you freeze of parchment paper cut into about 12 inch lengths
- 1 extra large freezer bag
- Put 1 sheet of aluminum foil on work surface.
- Top with one piece of parchment paper.
- Place 4 to 5 slices bacon on parchment close together but not touching each other.com
- Cover with another.piece of parchment paper
- Continue with the layering of bacon and parchment paper, ending with parchment paper.
- Use other sheet of aluminum foil to enclose entire bundle.
- Place in freezer bag until.
- Fcompletely.frozen
- When frozen remove all foil and parchment paper working quickly so as to keep bacon frozen return individually frozen slices to freezer bag, seal and put back in freezer.
- Now anytime you want one or more slices of bacon just remove as many as you need from the bag!
