Baked Seafood Casserole
- 1 lb. crabmeat
- 1 lb. shrimp, boiled, shelled and deveined
- 1 c. mayonnaise (Hellmann's)
- 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
- 1/4 c. finely chopped onion
- 1 1/2 c. finely chopped celery
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. white pepper
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 c. buttered bread crumbs
- paprika
- Combine all ingredients, except bread crumbs and paprika and pour into buttered casserole dish.
- Top with bread crumbs and sprinkle with paprika.
- Bake at 350u0b0 until mixture is heated through and bubbly.
- May be served in individual shells.
- May also be served without cooking as a salad on lettuce leaves.
- Drained, sliced water chestnuts or 1/4 cup slivered almonds may be added for crunchy goodness.
- Serves 8.
