Dad's Baked Oysters On The Half Shell Recipe
- 1/2 bushel Chincoteague oysters
- Cracker crumbs
- Butter
- Scrub and open oysters on deep shell; cut away from shell but don't remove, being careful to retain all juices.
- Place oysters on baking sheet.
- Add in cracker crumbs to each oyster sufficient to absorb juices.
- Add in 1/2 tsp.
- butter to each oyster.
- Bake at 400 degrees till golden.
- Makes 4 servings.
